Small Business Big Success was created by Master Business Coach, “The Coach, Steve Straus” and is now taught by Plano Small Business Women of The Year and owner of North Texas Kids, Dr. Minette Riordan. For over 5 years CEO’s, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Partners, and small business owners have been transforming their lives with Small Business Big Success In-person (Currently at SMU – Southern Methodist University in Plano, Texas).

Unlike other business coaching and mentoring programs that only focus on business; Small Business Big Success (SBBS) integrates the personal aspects of business owners and leaders with the structure of the business world. This integration allows individuals to literally transform and create a small business or organization that feeds both their personal life and business goals.

Small Business Big Success – Virtual Group Coaching

(Less than $25.00 a week.) First Class is from 9-11:00 AM CST April 9th

How the Small Business Big Success Virtual Coaching program works.

• Once a month you come together with a group of your peers — other business owners, professionals, and solo entrepreneurs — and you spend a morning with your designated coach over tele-conference and webinar. You learn, apply, and are coached on one of the Twelve Keys to business success. You leave the workshop with new knowledge, new processes, some personal "ah-ha’s" and a few action items you choose to focus on over the next month.
• Following the monthly virtual workshop you receive a short weekly email highlighting and reinforcing some aspect of what you covered in the virtual workshop.
• You then participate in two group coaching calls where we do inner work to get to the core of what you want, we go over your questions, give course-correction, reinforce your learning, and acknowledge your successes.

Small Business Big Success – In-person Group Coaching

(From Less than $75.00 a week) Class Meets First Friday of Each Month 8-11:30 am at SMU in Plano

*Note April Class will be on Thursday April 1st because of Good Friday.

How the Small Business Big Success In-person Coaching program works.

• Once a month you come together with a group of your peers — other business owners, professionals, and solo entrepreneurs — and you spend a morning with your designated coach. You learn, discuss, apply, and are coached on one of the Twelve Keys to business success. You leave the workshop with new knowledge, new processes, some personal "ah-ha’s" and a few action items you choose to focus on over the next month.
• Following the monthly workshop you receive a short weekly email highlighting and reinforcing some aspect of what you covered in the workshop.
• You can also be part of a group telephone call about two weeks after the workshop to get your questions answered, course-correct, reinforce your learning, and acknowledge your successes.
• You may also call during published times to receive private laser coaching on the specifics of your business issues. There is no limit to the number of laser coaching calls you may have.
• The design of the Small Business :: Big Success Group Coaching program means that you invest only one scheduled, in-person morning out of your month and the rest of the coaching and support happens at your direction, on your timeframe, and at hours which work best for you. It’s a powerful, flexible model of just-in-time, just-what-you-need business coaching.

 

Reinforced for Business Success

In each monthly in-person and virtual workshop we cover — in depth — one of the Twelve Keys to small business success. Therefore, in one year (12 In-person or virtual workshops) you will have

1) learned about,
2) been coached on,
3) applied in your business, and
4) begun to master, all twelve small business success Keys.

 

The longer you stay in the program, the more you will see how each of the Success Keys connects to one another to reveal a powerful picture of you and your business. Currently, all of the in-person small business success workshops are in the Plano, Texas, area.

And finally…

One of the subtle but significant benefits of this program is connecting with a strong group of your business peers — non-competing, like-minded, committed-to-success individuals who are looking for the same outcomes you are. When you hear someone in a non-related business, or even a different industry, discuss the same issue you are dealing with it, it opens your perspective dramatically.

Furthermore, you can (and we will show you how and encourage you to) use the other members of your group to help hold you accountable for your actions. There is nothing like having a supportive, interested-in-your-success group who, in turn, expect you to help them be accountable for their actions. A bonding can occur which can last long after you have completed the small business Group Coaching program!
